Who?
Almed is an industrial co-operative society born in 1996.
Its factory is operative from 2001 and it concerns with the working and the boxing up of foodpowderstuffs.
The Almed society is constituted by 10 members. That competences’ variety allow to the same society to fulfill all the administrational functions.
Almed has agents for the presentation of its foodstuffs above all Italy.
On 8th/01/2002 the Ministry of Health, in conformity with the departmental order 111/92, has acknowledged the Almed factory as qualified for the production and the boxing up of particular foodpowderstuffs graded as milk powder and dietetic foodpowderstuffs; (the order is published upon the G.U., n.74, 28 March, 2002).

Where?

Our factory and our offices are in the Industrial Zone of Lamezia Terme (CZ), at the Services and Researches Center for Agronomical Foods.
The ‘Agronomical Food Center’ is an organizing and building structure finalized to help industrial firms in the taking off of their goods’ and services’ production. For that reason, the Almed society and many others factories have decided to take place in that zone which is 4 km away from the airport, and about 5 km away from the motorway and from the station.

The Manufacture
The manufacture is automatical and entirely made at our factory.
The envelopes are made by the polythene-aluminium with a dosage from 30 gr. to 2000 gr..
To keep the product till about 2 years, absolute nourish azote (E941) is put in.
Any residual oxygen is misured through sampling and through an automatical equipment becouse the envelopes must have a net weight of 400 gr. .
The final product receives all sort of controlls for the locating of any possible anomalies.
The selling manufactures are made by a thin pasteboard’s box in which there are the envelopes and a small powdermilk’s measure of 4,6 gr..
The foodspowderstuffs are instead manufatured from reliable Firms acknowledged in all Europe.

The Products
Our Products are: Mumilk1, breast-fed milk: from 0 to 4 months; Mumilk2, pursuance milk: from 5 to 12 months, Medilat Nat, goat full cream powdermilk and Medilat Pro, goat powdermilk plus vitamins and other nourish integrators which make the product in conformity with the babies’ growing milk normative laws.
